Our parent company, Dreisbach Enterprises, was started in the early 1950s, providing chilled space for various fruits destined for the East Oakland processing facilities near the original warehouse. With the advent of the home freezer in the mid 1950s, the family expanded its footprint in the perishable commodity landscape by providing both frozen capabilities and the supportive perishable commodity transportation. After three generations of providing temperature controlled services in the Bay Area, Dreisbach has most recently expanded to include the management of the newest Oakland facility – Cool Port, in the Port of Oakland.
Hana Freight Services, formerly operating as Dreisbach Freight Services was created in 1998 to provide refrigerated transportation to support the supply chain needs for the food industry.
We are a premier refrigerated truck brokerage, providing refrigerated service for both truckload and less than truckload shipments. We provide both over the road and intermodal supply chain service to customers throughout the US and Canada.
Our small, professional and dedicated staff has a combined total of nearly 90 years of experience in refrigerated transportation. This level of experience allows us to listen to our customers first to determine their needs and provide them with the best possible options to support their supply chain.
